Blog Hop With A Difference

I’ve been asked by the Gorgeous Heather McMahon to participate in the Blog Hop With A Difference.  Heather is a beautiful down to earth person who creates amazing works of art! 🙂
The idea for the blog hop is Each week new posts go up on selected blogs and three new bloggers are tagged. It’s a great way to discover some new and exciting scrappers. We answer a series of questions so it’s a great way to learn more about how individual scrappers work.

Here are the questions and my answers:

Q: What am I working on right now?
A: I often have several projects on the go at any one time, On one table at the moment I am working on a layout for Kaisercraft DT, sitting to one side is a project for the Colour Room that I am videoing. I have another pile collecting for my classes for my next workshop in August and for my class in November for Scrapping With the Stars.
I am also working on a Brand New Challenge project that I hope to release later this week. Oh and I am also working on a couple more new kiTs 2 Go. So not much really! LOL I work better with deadlines, the more deadlines I have the more I seem to get done! 🙂

Q: How long does it take to create a project?
A: This varies greatly, but generally at least a day per project. Sometimes longer if I am waiting for layers to dry. I usually have 2 or 3 things on the go at any one time.

Q: What are my fave things I love to create with at the moment?
A: I love my paints and inks and templates and Inka Golds and LOVE my Gelatos!!! Oh but anything messy generally! I love any opportunity to play with mixed media.

Q: How does your writing creative process work?
A: I can start the creative process from any inspiration point, be it the photos, the papers, embellishments, colours, techniques.
I pull everything out that goes together then work out roughly where things are going to go before I stick down, then I go back in and work on the background. If I have something planned out with many layers I will glue from the top layers down.

Q: What inspires you?
A: Being alive inspires me, I draw inspiration from absolutley everything around me everywhere. Other creative people really inspire me too, just seeing someones beautiful creation is enough to make me want to go and play too.  Each and every creative person who has the courage to share their work in public inspires me, you can never underestimate how incredible that is and how hard it can be for some to do it. To have the privilege to see someone share a part of themselves is very special!
It really is a blessing that we should never take for granted! Being able to witness someone else s life and stories and their creative journey is nothing but inspirational.

So that is a little peek into me and what I am up to at the moment. To continue with this blog hop, I am supposed to tag three scrappers whose work I admire.
As this blog hop has done the rounds the ladies I asked have already taken part, but I don’t want to end the inspiration here, If you go to HERE  I have a list of inspiring Scrappers covering all the different styles of Creatives who I admire.
